I bought a 73 stang for 600.00 no title. And i have a 429 with a C-6 laying around. This is going to be my new drag car any ideas how fast it will be? I will be running slicks, a holly 650 double pumper,cast iron Cobra jet intake, and headers, with 4:56 or 5:13 gears.

The top guy in the F.A.S.T racing is a 1971 mustang fastback with a 429ci motor 9.36 1/4 IIRC.The new hemmings mag has the article on the mustang,the last top dog was a 426 hemi cuda 10.09 1/4 mile.
