I recently rebuilt my trans with Excedy frictions and a billet intermediate shaft. I already had a Circle D converter before the build and it was working fine. Now after the build, I have very little stall, nothing like before the build. Also, during a test drive I noticed that the stall in locking up in every gear, even though it's not commanded. This leads me to suspect an issue with the valve body and the one thing that sticks in my head was the valve body divider plate has changed. I thought I was sent the wrong part and had the vendor send another and it was the same as what was sent before. Has anyone recently replaced the valve body divider plate and if so, was the new plate different?
