However, I've always been a camaro guy. LT1's were near and dear to me for their sound, which is why the 4.6L 32V always keep a bug in my ear. Those two motors will always have the best sound ever to me. With that said, about a year ago, I had been telling the wife I have GOT to get me a car that I can drive to work and work on it here and there. This was a few days before our brand new SUV gets totaled by a dead tree falling on it...only 11 days after having it. So while I'm looking around, this 96 mystic with only 62K miles on it pops up...and only 1 mile from me for only $7K!! Long story short, I tell the wife "the gods have spoken"...going to get it tomorrow lol! The body and paint is almost flawless. The clear coat on the plastic trim below the doors have oxidized a bit and one small spot on the spoiler but that's it. Body straight as an arrow. Only thing it's drastically need was new wires, tune up, odd's and end's kind of stuff. Only thing really major was driver seat leather being torn but most definitely work the 7K to me.

Far as mod goes, motor is basically stock. Only real mods are wheel change, cats removed and full 3" exhaust with X pipe ran from the stock manifolds out the back. Have tons of questions since I don't know much about these motors. I want to beef it up soon. I wan to keep this motor for it's nostalgic and harmonious sounds lol. Coyote swap is too easy. Yes I know you don't get as much bang for buck horsepower/money wise on this motor but I freakin love its sound and not to mention, shes been faithful to me on a couple long road trips. Soon I'm gona have to post a thread asking questions about what's the best course of action. With my ADD I get lost on the best route to take with the 4.6L 32V vs LT/LS motors lol. So once I get over my fear of catching flak for not knowing...I'll post it lol. Til then, always an enjoyment seeing images of your awesome mystic!

[QUOTE="Re1iK, post: 16335826, member: 194195"] Long story short, graduated in '97 so the Mystic has always held a special place in my heart lol. However, I've always been a camaro guy. LT1's were near and dear to me for their sound, which is why the 4.6L 32V always keep a bug in my ear. Those two motors will always have the best sound ever to me.
