This is what happened to the last set of BFGs I bought. The rear one popped while towing my trailer on I-95. The tread wrapped around and mangled the exhaust. I had to take it apart and sawzall it into a turn-down dump to get the spare on, but was then able to continue the trip. After about 200 miles later (on my way back home later that day) I got a vibration in the front. I pulled into a truck stop in Manning, SC and notice one of the front tires had a half baseball sized bulge in the tread. Since I was fresh out of spare tires I back the rig in with the road tractors and left it there that night. The next day I was able to get a brand new spare off a wrecked Duty at a local salvage yard. Haul it back to Manning and finally get the truck back home. I love my new Nitto Ridge Graplers on that truck. :) In fact, every vehicle own now sports Nitto tires.
