[QUOTE="DSG2003Mach1, post: 16221892, member: 16477"] Should idle rpm increase when the AC is running or should it be the same rpm as when its off? My 03 Mach1 seems to idle in the same rpm range AC on or off. It has mild cams, I usually see the aeroforce RPMs bouncing around from 830-870 either way. I've got an aftermarket alternator and just wanna verify before going back to the alternator manufacturer again. If I let the car sit at idle and turn on the AC and lights voltage crashes into the low 12s. I dont know if the rpms should be bumping up a tad and they aren't or if its a messed up alternator.
