accelerometer with other track info?

hi guys i am a little curious about the interest this would create at the track?

an accelerometer - that includes an altimeter, barometer, compass, and an outside thermometer.


it seems to me that with all of this information on each run it would be a great way to compare past and present runs as well comparing runs of competitors from across the nation.

would all this information contribute to a better knowledge of the times that we are running and what our cars are capable of achieving each day we go out?

why would we need a compass :shrug:

no statistical reason for the compass. its always handy for those who like to travel though.

i just thought that when you "make a run" it would be nice to have some more info besides time and mph.
