Watch which disgruntled customers you get your information from. Firstly, J2Fab is one of the "big brands" and the only one of the aforementioned that actually builds the Cobra unit in house. With over 1000 units in service now, and over 300 of the new hairpin's (with zero warranties on the hairpin I will add) it is hands down the number one source for Cobra charging several years running. As for the post you just shared a screenshot of, I believe that is Ryan Williams. Ryan Williams screwed up on his own admittance installing the cable kit and purposefully grounded the Alternator charge wire to see if it was hot "for craps and giggles". Ryan would of gotten his unit repaired under the lifetime service portion and just paid for parts, but that was not good enough. He wanted to threaten to slander J2 on social media if he was not fully covered and asserted that it was J2Fab's fault for instructions not being clear enough. Out of said 1000+ units in service this particular situation has only happened twice. Once with Ryan, and once with his friend who he helped install. J2Fab would not be Lethals go-to brand if they had a track record of screwing customers or putting out bad parts.
