So a couple things are all at play here. One is that the powers that be don't give a shit if the masses or infrastructure isnt ready for it, or that its going to cause economic crisis. That's part of the plan to kill capitalism/free market and usher in socialism. Two is they want you to buy into the EV, so they can bait n switch you into more control. Climate Change lockdowns are next on the table after seeing how complaint the masses were to covid lockdowns, and you wont be able to drive or charge your car on certain days because invisible changes that cannot be quantified are your fault as a human, but the elites will still fly around in private jets 400 deep to a magical island where emissions dont exist. If EVs were evolving naturally and became a more cost effective solution naturally, then id be all for it. But they're not. They're being pushed as a solution by regulating away ICE and fossil fuels, making them expensive so EV's look like a better option. Even Elon isnt keen on regulations that push EV as even he says the infrastructure isnt ready for it, and he is worried about mass implementation backfire. Best case scenario I see is that people who get EV's and the next couple years they get sick of waiting 1hr at charging stations, or get sick of not being able to charge due to rolling blackouts at winter or summer, and all sell their EVs and return to ICE. The manufacturers that go full EV may not survive if this happens, and good, **** em. The ones that keep a portion of their fleets ICE and then can quickly switch back will make a murdering. This is why I favor secession of red states from blue. Red states will not likely deviate away from ICE as they understand its a much better energy density value than EV. I believe I saw on some youtube vid that 1cc of gasoline had more energy per volume than one cubic foot of battery. The faster states rid themselves of blue cancer the faster they can get back to pure Americanism.
