Sadly I had a trailer issue and after 4 days working in the garage til 1am we threw in the towel and I only went down to watch and help my friend Scott Hasty with his bad '11 GT. I'm very disappointed as the car was scary fast datalogging (after having an issue with the new Hobbs switch in the Fore triple pump return kit failing to activate the two additional pumps). Talking with Lund about their 1100+rwhp TVS2650 5.8 and my datalogs, it seems I was very close. Having a new triple disc clutch I could actually slip, a new Strange 9" with rear suspension improvements, approximately 100# off the car with new Wilwoods and a few other changes, plus that BAD VMP Gen 3---I was really hoping to turn the last 10.009@145 into a 9.50@150. Oh well, good to know it's ready to rock come spring. I only plan few small changes over the winter (shift light, Ngauge, boost and E85 A-pillar), plus some fine tuning. Maybe shooting for NMRA Bradenton. Scott ran new PRs in 6R class---8.51@161 and several 8.50s and over 160mph! Great job buddy. This is definitely a must attend race for me. Justin and crew did a great job and the track and DA make for killer times. I'll post some pics soon. Big thanks to Justin Young, Team Beefcake Racing, and several forum members. As long as it's running, I'll be running in Driver Mod next year, plus another class like True Street. -J
