[QUOTE="buffalosoldier, post: 16495767, member: 191410"] I have worked in the appliance industry for over 30 years and in my opinion I wouldn't spend much money repairing a Frigidaire branded D/W. You didn't state the age of the piece but honestly I would replace it with a Whirlpool,(good value) Bosch, (quiet no brand on the front panel)or Kitchenaid.(quiet well featured) They are all good and long term you will be glad you did. Just FYI there is no real advantage to a stainless tub except they look better in the store. The higher you get in the product line you will find lower db numbers and some will have higher wash rinse temps. Right now the big issue is availability, many of the plants have be shut down and the supply chain is disrupted. Frigidaire hangs their hat on their polyester coated finish claiming no fingerprints, avoiding the quality performance issues. Go to any store and wiggle the door an different brands . A lot of the Frigidaire D/Ws are built in Italy, Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, and Bosch are built in the US, except the Bosch with a laser etched model tag, those are made in Germany.
