Been on it since January or so, I checked the other day and I'm down 37lbs. I haven't been going to the gym at all, but I'm going to soon. At this point I'm on auto pilot. I'll have cheat days and what not where I drink beer, they are usually special occasions though like hanging out with friends. My energy levels haven't really changed, I don't really get tired though like you do after a sugar high. I like the fact that you can eat once per day, there are a lot of arguments for/against intermittent fasting, but I really only do it because I only get hungry once per day. I keep my carbs under 20 per day and sometimes if I slip up, it's no biggie, I don't get kicked out of ketosis as often as I expected. I will say I didn't feel particularly great the other night when we went out for my buddy's b day. I had an awful lot of carbs at hibachi. This is true. In the first few weeks you will get cravings bad, but out of no where it just changes. I can walk into a bakery and smell the fresh bread and it doesn't phase me at all. It also changes the way you taste stuff. We had a cheat day a while back when we were traveling and I grabbed 2 hot and spicy's from McDonalds. They tasted like pure sugar, enough that it was a turn off. Then just do lazy keto, just limit your carbs to 20g per day and eat whatever else you want. For anyone who wants to do this, you need to understand that you will feel like shit for the first week or two. It's called keto flu and it's your body trying to convert from running on sugar to running on fat. Also, you'll need to up your salt intake because your body will flush it all out.
