[QUOTE="DrTriton, post: 14313382, member: 2408"] Just an update on my car - tonight I cut the Abbott box out and installed the Dakota Digital box in its place. I didn't modify a single wire just swapped boxes and flipped the dip switches per Tremec recommendations. Lo and behold my speedo issues are completely resolved AND I can use my cruise control in any gear at any speed now. :D I still believe the output signal from the Abbott isn't real clean and that's why the cruise control doesn't work on some cars. I used the Engineering Mode in the car to view the digital speedometer against my GPS, made a fine adjustment to the Dakota box and it's rock solid now. :rolling: I have to wonder why everyone is using the $180 Abbott box when the Dakota is only $80 and does the job better (in my case anyway)??
