In the interest of helping someone else out, here are the settings for the Dakota: The power, ground and input wires all go in the same places on the Dakota as they do on the Abbott. The output wire goes into OUT2. Dip switch settings: Off, off, on, on. Couse setting 13, fine setting 6 (I believe these May be the factory settings as I forgot to check them and my speedo was only out by ~ 10% right off the bat). While driving the car you make fine adjustments to the speed by pressing the up and down buttons on the Dakota box. I had mine all set up within a few minutes and the cruise worked at any speed from ~ 30 mph to ~ 80 mph. Given some cars have had issues and others have not, your results may vary, but on my early '11 car it works perfect. So happy I can finally use the CC, now if I could just get the clutch to quit hanging up...
