I can’t remember which factory ford cams would work well in a 2v, but I think I remember that the expensive but capable twisted wedge 2v heads really breath good and make power much easier. Something like 250cfm of flow, which is almost 4v cobra territory With a medium to aggressive OEM (as in factory supplied) cam and that head, you should easily make 300whp on a full exhaust, full bolt on 2v. For handling, find a built 03/04 irs to swap in. Last one I found has a complete full tilt boogie racing kit on it and some minor fabrications/additional welds on it for $500. Was in excellent condition. You can get an sra to handle, but a well done irs swap will do much more to balance the car. What weight you’ll gain is all rear weight and low. Throw a 3.73 or 3.90 rear in to compensate for the 100lbs difference.
