.......... Platinum...this is very important..../\.... even a slight accidental over torque of the lug nuts can warp rotors w/ little or no hard braking ever taking place..... here is why...the studs are in the hat(hub)...the rotors fit onto the hats...by over tightening....the hub can distort...a half to sometimes a few thou....now here's the kicker, that 2 thou by the time that extends out into the swept area, gets magnified(evil math) to 10 or 15 thou and you sure will feel that. so.......even if you are mainly concerned w/ street braking(which w/ these heavy cars is still a mild performance app.) from what i've read the stock brakes are not that bad...so longevity is also a trade off(somewhat) with rotor wear... If you are not doing track events or auto cross...just drags and aggresive street...I think you would be fine w/ a stock set up...new pads...I like the hawks too BTW...and yea...I would turn those rotors first....depending on how much you have to cut em... if the rotors need to much cut off I think I would still lean towards stock replacements unless you are doing track stuff... to be honest there are a lot of specifics to your situation that affect your options.....which are legion in number...good luck there are some way more qualified "brake guys" on here than me.....That is one of my interests though, because track stuff is something I'm going to want to do:rockon:   jimmy:thumbsup:
