audio help please

i got a 94 cobra with the 460. speakers are shot. i still want to keep the factory system,amps,etc. local shop says you cant go after market speakers with factory amps. i already have 2 12 inch subs with a jbl amp with a line converter. can you replace speakers with the factory stuff or not

You cant just replace the speakers in a Mach 460 system. You've got to replace everything at the same time. The only things you can really do is change the stock headunit and add subs. I tried this already bro, sorry :shrug:
