Bassani Questions

Im thinking about putting a bassani X pipe w/cats on my 2001 saleen. I notice they have a Street Thunder line and a Street Competition line. What is the difference and what do most people buy? Also anyone know what sounds good on a 2001 saleen.. and what HP it will add? Keep in mind the saleen exhaust sounds much better than the regular stock stang exhuast. Any thoughts?

if your gona do on road go with an H pipe setup... even if you do stick with an x pipe, dont get bassani if your doin on road because their cats are inferior... check out this site and see if u find anything

I have had good luck with Bassani. I put a full set on my 99 and 01 Cobras and now my 03. I have 800 miles on the catted x/p and I dont have a MIL yet. 5.0 mag just put a Magnaflow on a mod motor and the cats, at least the shields look identical to Bassani. I would bet any hi-flo cat will have trouble passing some emissions stds. in some states.
