We usually fly in, buy on either Friday night or Saturday morning, hang out around KC/Topeka, stay the night and drive back mid morning on Sunday. It's only like 7.5 to 8 hours for us so it's really easy. I'm not trying to pimp Nick right now but I'll give my honest opinion. If I REALLY shopped around when buying a non-specialty Ford, I might be able to find a better deal than with Nick. Not because he is making money but other dealers will sell them at a loss. When we were trying to find an ST for my fiancee, we were looking all over the nation and even spent some time in town with local dealers. Once I realized we could order a car from Nick it was very refreshing. He makes it too easy, I think it's a trust thing, when we were at a local dealer it felt like the guy was always hiding something from me and it made me uncomfortable. Knowing he has my back, it adds another small dimension of confidence in the purchase knowing that I'm the one green lighting the sale with her money. The way I try to look at it is a mini vacation, that you bring home a new toy after. If I look at it as trying to go buy a car, it will lose some luster. KC is pretty cool and their BBQ is amazing. If you can take a couple days and get away from home and tour half the country, it's more than just a purchase.
