I attempted to. Here's the brief summary of what happened. I got back with them upon installing their tune and asked "Should I data log this and send back to you to verify that the car is running as intended and the tune is safe and the a/f is correct?" The response was "Data logging will not be necessary. If your car drives great then just enjoy your car. We charge additional to read data logs and if your car runs great there is no need to data log." So that's what sets my tuner apart from BBR. He requested before / after data logs. A - to make sure the car was running properly before he would tune for me and B - to make sure his tune was safe/dialed in afterward. I'm sure some or possibly most do this, but my first tuner wanted to charge extra for it. As mentioned above, I questioned my original tuner about doing data logging, but as long as my car runs, they felt it wasn't necessary. I sincerely believe they have the mindset of "one tune fits most". Since it worked on the car they dialed it in on, it'll work on every other car with same/similar mods. After I bought the tune, I felt like I was just another customer. In my case, I followed AED/Shaun's car for months as he got faster and faster with very minimal mods to his car. Then I started seeing other people with his tunes popping up on here quite happy. Then I witnessed great response/customer service first hand. What's more to need? I didn't jump on the bandwagon per se, but getting a tuner whose car is the 2nd fastest n/a stick shift/stock block car around was certainly something. Even the fastest car (10.88) had far more mods. I was impressed with him doing so much with so little.
