As I have been away from Hi-Performance Fords since 1991, Could anyone help?

Who makes a Stainless Steel brake line Kit for the 03 Cobra brakes and how much do they typically cost.

My intention is to first try pads, Stainless lines and high performance brake fluid and only then if dissatisfied, look at a set of calipers & rotors.

Suggestions on pads welcome also.

I drag, have signed up for 5 Autocross events, and mostly street drive.

Any help help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

If you autocross a lot, you need to bleed your brakes a lot. I recommend ATE (a German brand). It comes in standard amber color, and also tinted blue - that let's you see when you have drained out the old fluid by the color change. ATE is a huge mfr of brake parts, and the fluid is high quality.

For regular use, I would suggest sticking with DOT 3 fluid that comes in the car. DOT4 has different additives. I do not believe in monkeying around with brake parts.
