Ok so I just bought a 87 notch and im very new to these cars as Ive had modulars my whole life...well here is the scenario...My brakes work but at the very bottom like it almost has no pressure so I have to depress the pedal to the floor to brake...What can this be? Bad brake booster and master cylinder or do I need to bleed the brakes?

*Side note I also heard to swap in a SN-95 Brake booster and master cylinder because they are better? What exactly can I do to fix this?

Thanks guys!

my girlfriends nephews car is doing this exact same thing. i'd have to say its brake booster though. remember when putting in a 95 up brake booster it will take up more room than the factory booster.

Yeah I'm going to try and bleed the brakes first because the car has been sitting for a very long time its completely stock has never been modified whatsoever and the old man just had it rotting which is why the paint is rusting but a good sand and primer should get it ready for the repainting!
