Looking at getting rid of the "bang shift". I want something that is extremely quiet. So far the only versions i have found that may be close to compliant would be the 40 durometer Breedt mount or the Cobb mount.

Anyone have any experience with these and can tell me which one is better with the NVH?

I don't have one yet but everyone seems to love the Cobb.

Yeah, it seems to be the favorite. I like that Breddt uses a 40a durometer bushing over the 80a of the Cobb. It would be much better with NVH. I have an insert in my Hyundai 4 cylinder car and it rattles itself to death. I dont want that in the Fiesta...

40a isn't much higher than the factory one. I know the focus guys used the e focus mount and eventually Ford switched to it from the factory and it may have even been higher than that.

Exactly why im thinking of going with the Breedt version over the poly bushing in the Cobb mount. I want stock like NVH and i think the Cobb will add too much.

I think so far we've sold close to 75 RMM's from COBB. All of the customers we've installed them for or shipped them to have had rave reviews about it on the Fiesta Forums. We've got great deals on COB if you're interested in a quote :)

Well started on removing the stock large rear bushing.
This seems to be the major problem since the mount itself is basically a piece of billet.

Next is ordering the yellow "street" Powerflex PFF19-2001 large poly bushing.
Install pics and final thoughts to come soon.

Installed the PFF19-2001 bushing and ran around the block. Impressions so far indicate it's a great upgrade. No NVH to speak of and the delay that was there in the action of the trans moving with the stock mount is entirely gone.
Not bad for an hour of my time and $50.
