buying 2000 or 2001 or 2002 GT

Ok heres the deal, I am currently looking at Mustang GT's. Besides the apparent hood difference between the two, is there anything that is different on these? The 2000 has 14000 miles on it and looks very well maintained, They are asking 17,900 for it.

If I get the 2001 or 2002 I will be waitng about 6months for the extra doh! The hood makes no diffrence to me, although I like the newest one, but will sacrafice it for the used one if there is no difference.

I don't care about the sound system as it is coming out anyways.

Yep not only did the compression get a raise in 2001, but after mid year they got an honest Tremec TR3650 tranny. I'm putting on the wheels what Ford rated us at the FW and all I have is a K&N and a pair of mufflers. I doubt either of them are worth more than about 2 ponies on the wheels. Take my word fot it, the wait will be worth it.
