You haven't seen proof? MT compared the enzo vs carrera gt vs ford gt. Enzo 11.0 @ 133mph Porsche carrera GT 11.1 @ 133mph Ford GT 11.2 @ 131mph. GT's have dynoed 550rwhp STOCK, lets not even talk about mod potential and the obvious advantages of a mid-engine car. The Z06 is fast, but the GT is faster; anyone who says otherwise is biased and doesen't know their head from their ass.

and the same mag tested it against the Z06 and viper and it ran 11.7 or something at 124 then 127. its all inconsistant

thats the ONLY 130mph trap speed i've seen. most are high 120's.

All cars are inconsistant, some people have run low 12's @ 122 with their C6 Z06, does that mean anything? The GT makes almost 100rwhp more than a z06, 130mph+ traps with a great driver in good conditions makes sense to me. :idea:

LOL LG's dyno isnt the only one that has made similar power numbers with cam swaps.

well i guess that does make sense... more like 90rwhp more and near 300lb more. so the two comparing power to weight is somewhat closer by the numbers. but to whoever posted the thing about the GT trappin 5-6mph faster is for the most part wrong. the C6 Z06 can trap 126-127 in great hands too. GT is 130 it seems in good hands..but i think thats all its gonna get with 3.36 gear ratio out back. cuz race weight will be 3450plus driver so thats like at least 3600lbs. 3600lbs and 535rwhp is capable of near 130 i would guess. i would say more like 128 tho. thats ony 3-4 so its not that much higher. 5-6 is big difference. 3-4 isnt as big when it comes down to it in a roll race.

i know the GT is faster all around for the most part but its not a far blow out as everyone makes it out to be

i know i had an idea... i threw in the LOL at the beginning and just mentioned that others dyno's did good so other peeps wouldnt think of it the wrong way... and just to be sure if you werent :-D

same magazine tested the viper and GT and the viper went 11.77 at 123.6 while the Gt went 11.78 at 124....

so wtf happened there? inconsistant drivers. these magazine times are bogus.

thats why if your comparing the GT times of 128mph traps to Z06's 123 then it looks like 5mph difference.. but really, Z06's have gone 125-126mph. i havent seen much from ford GT's. ppl saying they hit 128-130mph traps but i aint seen proof. again i havent shown slips from Z06's, i'm just on a few corvette forums and relaying the info. i'll post some slips and threads if you need them and dont believe me they do 125-126mph

No actually they didn't even test the two cars on the same day.. they had issues and couldn't run the viper so they used a previous test result...at least the 131 trap was on the same day/track as the Enzo/CGT ringer or not the car ran it right next to the other two...
