Ok right now i have a 1995 v6 automatic Mustang convertible that i am putting a 302 in. The goal of the car is to be able to pass emissions and be street driveable, but to also have a respectable time at the track. Currently I have bought GT40P heads, Ford Racing intake manifold, 70mm throttle body, shorty headers, and an 8.8 rear end.
My first question is what cam do you think would be best for what i am trying to accomplish? Would the E303 do the trick?
My second question is do i absolutely need a new transmission?

Thanx for any help

Are the T-5's in V-6's and 302's the same? They don't feel the same driving them.

I think the F cam is probably the best letter cam. X cam is a little big to be practical.
