Long story short- Dad's a VP of a local Ford dealerships Parts Dept/Operations- Just not sales. Been there 35 years now. I wanted a new F150 5.0 truck. Didn't want to play games. Just wanted to drive/check them out with zero pressure. Sales manager (who I don't know) brought me three sets of keys. Talked to me about his experience and what he usually sells, what he'd buy, and what was good for the money or a waste. Then he put me with a real easy going sales guy who basically drove them around to me to try out. Then I said lets talk numbers, but I will give you my Credit Score as I don't want it pulled until we know what I want. In the end, I drove about 4 trucks, left around lunch, came back around 8, bought what I wanted, and was gone in 30 minutes. It was an easy going affair. All because the Sales Manager wasn't a creep, sales person was easy going, and they let me make my own decision on my time.
