[QUOTE="svtfocus2cobra, post: 16315761, member: 21786"] When I was at CQB school, Victoria, VA SWAT came to the school house to train along side us. They got all geared up and started doing a warm up jog around the range and they had their Jolly Roger flag flying high as they made their way around in formation. Only problem was that most of them appeared to be severely overweight for the physical requirements of the job. They would often do force on force at the end of the school with the CQB students and it usually ended in us obliterating them. My platoon also beat Seattle SWAT on a ferry drill but I wasn't a part of that. My seniors that were a part of it said that their tactics were outdated and they just weren't that good. There are a lot of cities that put a lot of money and effort into training their SWAT though, like Everett, Wa which two of my buddies from RTT are up there and while they aren't on SWAT there they said they put a lot of money into it and the guys running it are prior SOF or have a background in CQB at least.
