Lay of the blue kool-aid fellas. I know it tastes really good, but try to at least incorporate some objectivity here.

Turbos and direct injection were not first invented or used by Ford. Ecoboost is nothing new. It's more of a marketing point. Every other major OEM has something like it on the market.

GM's had a turbo'd, DI 4cyl in production for a while (Ecotech), so adding it to a 6 is not a huge deal.

I've said this for years...
There will come a day when GM will have to come out of the 1950's and produce a production multivalve engine.
It just makes too much sense... The ZR1 was a 350 with not very much engine management.

Time for Cheebie people to realize this so they can stop dropping an antiquated engine design into a foxbody Mustang that ended production in 1993. Both are getting very long on the tooth.
Cheebie Boyz need new victims.

Every car company has copied or used something from another company at one point or another.
