Clutch chatter???

i have this little noise when im idle ive figured it out that if i push the clutch in a little way (VERY) little it goes away what is this its kinda of a scratching sound at first i thought it was something like a tensinor but it isnt what can i do to fix this should i take it in (i have warranty) thanks car is 2002 GT 5spd..with 45k miles

Sounds like a release bearing to me. Take it in under warranty.

ya i asked my Grand father and thats exactly what he said throw-out bearing... im gonna take it in soon but jus curious how much does something like this cost part and labor or whatever has to be done?

The part is pretty cheap, I think it's around $40-50. The labor is what kills you. You have to pull the tranny to replace it.

It's also a good idea to replace your clutch while the tranny is out if you have the extra money.
