The new Focus ST may quickly become the “Next Big Thing” in the sport compact tuning community. Boasting 252hp out of the EcoBoost 2.0L, equipped with OEM 18″ Wheels, Recaro Seats, and an aggressive center exit exhaust, Ford is coming out swinging to meet the demands of the Japanese and Korean like competitors.

Thankfully the folks at COBB Tuning refuse to be caught sleeping and are ready for a big 12/12/12 release of their newly designed Focus ST COBB Access Port. With a standard stage 1 tuned map adding a modest 12hp and then an obscene 52 ft. lbs of torque to the EcoBoost arsenal! Time will only tell how fast this following grows and the power capabilities with tuning and turbo upgrades right around the corner.

The AccessPORT is the industry leading OEM ECU flashing, managing and monitoring assistant. Unlock power hidden within the ECU by replacing conservative factory settingswith more aggressive calibrations. The result is impressive gains in torque and horsepower while maintaining a high degree of reliability. The AccessPORT comes with preinstalledmaps that are optimized for common performance modifications.

Cobb getting on board is a good thing. The more aftermarket attention the ST gets outside of the typical Ford aftermarket circles the better the chances are of the RS making it here. Cobb receives a lot of attention from the import crowds with their work so what they do with the ST should get some extra attention.
