I've heard that turbo cars should have around 9:1 comp. Also, the "street" centrifugal kits are made for stock 9.8 comp., right?
Eventually I'd like to go w/ a Procharger D1 and 12# or so boost. Would I keep stock compression, or should I change to lower compression? I have also heard that Cobras don't like low compression, but I guess if you have a roots-type it is diff. as there is virtually no lag.

This was discussed a few weeks ago here.

Personally, I had a Vortech V2 SQ on my '98 and ran 9.1:1 CR and noticed no difference in the way it drove or felt. And I only dropped around 10 rwhp from the compression drop but could have easily upped the boost if I redid the fuel system. I was running the 6-8 PSI pulley but saw 8 PSI more often than 6.
