My current plan is to build the motor this year, spin the 3.4 as hard as I can to see what its capable of and then Ill dump the blower all together to go to turbos so the 3.4L felt like a good compromise to me at the time.
yeah my signature is my updated combo. I run e85 full time even though my only pump is 40min away from me since we only have 91 ocatane in my area so I only used it for the initial tune and fill the car up with it for winter storage. With the stock motor I dont think I left anything on the table by not going to the 4.0L I got a really good deal on the 3.4L and I always knew this car would get a sleeved built motor in the future so i was ok knowing id be under spinning it with the stock motor since it wouldn't stay that way. This was also before I ever saw the gen 3r crank out almost 1300 without nitrous. And the 4.0L would only make this worse with the stock motor. My current plan is to build the motor this year, spin the 3.4 as hard as I can to see what its capable of and then Ill dump the blower all together to go to turbos so the 3.4L felt like a good compromise to me at the time. I also chose whipple as a personal preference because I like the power band and how it feels on the road even though i know a TVS hits harder down low I really like power that hits and then keeps going
