Hello I am new here. I am putting a 2015 coyote crate motor in a factory five shelby cobra kit.
I purchased a custom tune and a X4 tuner. I am having trouble getting the ecu to recognize the tuner. I have verified the tuner works by reading codes in another ford vehicle. After long discussions with SCT tech support and tune programmer all I can confirm is the tuner can not communicate with the car and I have no idea why.
The programmer indicates he has seen issues with the way the wiring powers things up and tuners not being able to communicate. I have wired this just as the control pack instructions indicate. This is the 2015 version on the coyote motor and control pack.
IF anyone has any suggestions or has seen this before I would really appreciate some guidance on how to proceed with this.
