[QUOTE="TClark22, post: 16050233, member: 48625"] Well...struggled with the car all year with tiny problem after tiny problem. My previous PB was last fall with 9.47@147. We finally got the car to behave for a whole track outing and man did it finally do work! 8 second street car! Drove 2 hours to the track...ran a PB of 9.36@154 first run, spun the second run, then boom 8.96@159. Then drove it 2 hours back home! And yes...it has no cage. Yes I'm stupid for running this fast without one. Yes it is getting one this winter. I know there is no excuse for not having one going even the 9.47 that I did. But blowing my first motor set me back substantially and I couldn't afford to put one in last winter. Oddly enough this time was the first time the track officials mentioned needing a cage. Oh well...here is a short video of the car and the run with slip at the end. Can't wait to get it up to par safety wise this winter and head back out next year to work on my short times and hopefully actually race some events!
