I picked up a brochure with the 2003 Mach 1 in it and it shows the tach with a redline of about 5,800rpm. But I've seen Machs around here w/ tach's having redlines of about 6,800.
The only thing I can think of is trans - if the car is an automatic does it have a lower redline tach? If so, when under WOT, does the auto not wind up past 6,000 rpm?
