It is an invasion of privacy BUT people allow it to happen once they agree to their Terms of Agreement on anything but then people bitch about it happening..duh! I just got a smart phone this Fall and before I did anything with the phone I uninstalled every single app that I possibly could and turned off everything I could including any/all social media crap. The most difficult part was installing Firefox as my default browser w/o going through the Google Apps store. This phone was DETERMINED to get me to go through Google Apps to download anything but with determination I finally got FF installed w/o going through Google Apps. Even Yahoo was difficult to start until I finally got Yahoo.com as a link. Google REALLY wants access to EVERYTHING on this phone and I'm determined to keep my shit to myself. ks
