First off I apologize for not having pics or vids of this, though I'm sure it'll show up on YouTube eventually. I was with my son at the No Fly Zone event at the Gila Bend airport today and a blue with white stripe GT350 was running today. During its second run (that I saw), it caught fire in the middle of the track. The track got shut down for a while, but I did see it get towed past us spectators. It wasn't burnt to the ground, but I'm pretty sure that thing was totalled. Windshield was all cracked and the hood was bubbled. Anyhow, someone mentioned that these cars have fuel line issues and that's maybe why it caught fire. It was blowing white smoke prior to going up though.
