I don't think it's all that toxic. You choose who you see, and who you don't see. I got rid of it for several reasons: 1.) I'm tired of seeing the extremists on both sides of the aisle tear our country apart. 2.) I'm tired of getting messages and questions about work related stuff at all hours of the day, every day of the year. I love helping people, I love my job, but I love my limited family time more than that. 3.) I'm tired of the temptations and questionable situations that arise when random, attractive, women reach out to me or add me as a friend. You can only tell your wife so many times that you have no idea who someone is, or how they got your name, before it starts causing disruptions. 4.) I'm tired of seeing slandered information, or misrepresented information, or plain out falsehoods being pushed as true. 5.) I'm tired of seeing the Facebook sensored button. 6.) I'm tired of feeling like I need to check Facebook throughout the day to make sure I'm not missing a message, or make sure there's not someone I need to help. 7.) I'm tired of all of the ads. 8.) I'm tired of inadvertently getting wrapped up in other people's lives through their pictures, posts, etc. 9.) I'm tired of wasting time on it that I won't ever get back. 10.) I'm tired of seeing all of the Mustang killer memes.
