There's too much heat at those scenarios for a band aid 160° stat/mostly stock cooling system to handle, it easily sees 230°+ in those conditions which is melting zone. Heat finds deposits, they ignite prematurely, kaboom. </p><p></p><p>The tight piston/wall clearance makes far too much heat in these mills. #8 is basically a furnace...</p></blockquote><p></p>
