ET in a vert

How fast can you run in a vert at an IHRA or NHRA track without a rollbar or cage?

11.5 by the book. But many tracks will not let verts run at all without a cage. Bummer!

You will probably not be kicked out of any tracks till you get to sub-12's.

The rules around here say rollbar at 13.5et but they didn't say a word when I was there for the runs in the sig.

NHRA 13.99, IHRA 13.49 for convertible!

Maybe it's the other way around but I know those are the times for the Vert.!

What is it for coupes? Is it 11.9 or 10.9????

Don't forget you are suppose to have a helmet 13.99 or better vert or not!

From what i was always told, anything FASTER than 13.0 in a vert needs a cage. Anything FASTER than 12.0 in a coupe needs a cage. Not sure i am 100% right, but this is what i have always heard. Mike
