I've enjoyed my Shelby so far but now getting the itch. So far, I've only put on the FRPP resonator delete and Roush axle back mufflers. These mufflers are l-o-u-d but I am looking for more. Near future mods will be either a VMP or Steeda power pkg (2.5mm pulley/90mm; 123-127 JLT CAI; tune). Here's my dilemma: a friend of mine has a brand new in box set of Kooks long tube headers and O/R pipe. There is no way I'm putting on long tubes, off-road pipe and those Roush mufflers. My ears will bleed! I want to keep the mufflers because I love the way they sound. If I go with the headers, get a high flow mid-pipe and possibly resonators before the axle, how will it sound? Too loud? I am a fan of loud but not overboard. I've seen some posts by others in another thread regarding the resonators but no one seems to have the Roush tail end. I just don't want to go through will the expense, work etc all to be disappointed with the sound whether it be too loud or sound terrible as a combo. I looked at a clip from stainlessworks.net and their full system with headers sounds amazing! It has the perfect blend of aggressiveness, noise and growl and it's not over the top. Thanks for the help! ;-)
