[QUOTE="nickf2005, post: 16166136, member: 136350"] While we don't have a traditional farm, life is just better when we can get out on the weekends. We have a farmer that lives and farms a lot of acres around us. We need to get in good with him. No wife, no kids. He can't farm forever and we don't want to see his acreage get turned into housing additions when he's gone. That's a really good idea! I'll pass along the suggestion. Oh, trust me, its time is coming. Interesting story behind the 580... It sat untouched for 7+ years from the previous owner. It came with the purchase of the land my buddy made and he resurrected it. Motor was strong and easy to bring back to life, but the transaxle was wrecked. He had to rebuild it to get it to move. Blew a hydraulic hose on the loader early, but easy replacement. All the hydraulic lines could be replaced and cylinders repacked, but he's going to address those issues as they fail. It's a workhorse.
