1st goes to ~55 and 2nd goes to ~85 in these cars. That's why it feels gutless. 3rd goes to 115+. 03 Cobras went 50,80,105 with 3.55's. Throw a 4.56 in a gt350 and bolt ons and you'll want for nothing power wise. That would be a 500whp car with a something like 40-45 1st, 70 2nd, 100 3rd, 130 4th, 160 5th. I'm not going to go do all the math but stepping from a 3.73 to a 4.56 would be mega. Hell, a 4.30 is probably plenty. Bolt ons will add 40whp/wtq as well. Before going to the rabbit hole of an engine swap, do the simple stuff. Also, full exhaust will shed 20+lbs, and you could always pick up a lighter (not R expensive/light) set of wheels too. Something like a decent $1200-2500 pair of 22-25lbs wheels. The factory ones are 33lbs iirc on the gt350. The r's are 60lbs lighter iirc as a quad, so 15 a corner, I can't remember to be honest. Look at what people did to boss 302's 5 years ago for inspiration. There were 450whp 3650lbs boss's cutting deep 11's at 125... Also, whipple gt350's are deadly fast on the freeway. Long gears, all the span, few shifts, etc.
