For those who have used VOPC

I always thought I spoke clearly, but after a dozen tries to the VOPC, I am seriously debating it.
Is there a secret to speaking to this computer? Ill say my VIN# and it repeats back with some insane letters and numbers I never said. Even when I try to use the dealer order number I keep getting foiled. This has me frustrated, and confused.
Any tips?

That vopc is a joke. I think it's typical Ford. See how we can piss you off. The dealer must have some trick to it.:gt:

NXCOBRA I was told that it is not set up for the 03 vehicles yet. And when I decided Id stay on the line and talk with a customer service rep, I was told in no uncertain terms that this service was not for the general public and they would not help me. BTW I do have a visual picture in my mind of you trying to annunciate each letter and number precisely, because that is exactly what I was doing and if anyone had overheard me they would have thought I was certifiable...:beer:
