For those with nitrous, what gains do you see at the track with a 50 shot?

Im really thinking of nitrous as my next mod. For those with a dry 50 shot, what do you run on and off the bottle. I really want to know what kind of mph I will gain.

thanks

i ran 11.06 @ 125.89 on motor in nice 60 degree weather with a 1.61 60'. and ran 10.99 @ 128.49 in nasty 88 degree heat with 74 % humidity on a 30 shot (dry).

to give a better comparison, on one occasion i went to the track and the car had a horrible tune in it and i borrowed a set of skinnies that were off balanced , which made the car tremble uncontrolably. i was running 11.22- 11.39 @ 122-123. then i sprayed it (30 shot) and went 11.01-11.09 @ 127+. these cars LOVE spray!!! im doing injectors soon and hitting it with a 75 or 100 shot!! should be fun!!

Our cars make way more power with NOS then when we switch to smaller blower pullies. Didnt someone on the board do like 500/500 with stock cobra and 100 shot? Stock pulley and all, maybe he had intake/exhaust... Most cobra's dont reach these numbers unless its ported and with a 2.80. If I could do it over, I would just hook up the juice! Then you wont have to worry about ford saying anything about a pulley change :)

Or you could just do the 100 shot on top of the 2.80/port/etc. My Compucar kit should be getting installed tomorrow. After that it's an Apten. Can't fuggin' wait!

Worry about Ford? Pffft. **** 'em.

Man you guys are making it sooo tempting to just order a NOS kit. I was taking it step by step, like next was apten, then headers, heat exchanger, etc, but now i just want to skip and go right to the 50 shot...

Yes. The nitrous might be getting installed today, but I'm not going to use it until the car is ready for it.
