[QUOTE="stvdman, post: 16287131, member: 11572"] I feel like Ford has just lost their way in marketing their vehicles. Cant pinpoint it other than for myself. Doing away with SVT (Original version that died in 2004) seemed to be the start. I am a lifetime Ford loyalist (since my first car a 1976 F150). Have had a 89 T-Bird SC, 1993 F-150 Lightning, 1990 Mercury Cougar XR-7, 1995 Mustang GT, 1996 Ford Ranger, 1996 Bronco, 2002 Focus Wagon, 2003 Windstar, 2003 Cobra, 2009 Explorer EB, 2016 Explorer Sport). I really wanted to stay with Ford. Waited with baited breath for the new Bronco..and waited...and waited...and waited....and waited some more. Ended up with a 2020 Jeep Gladiator (which my wife LOVES). I am then looking to replace my 2003 Cobra. The GT350 comes out, friggin SWEET machine! Start sniffing around them..wait a little, see my first 350R (HOLY SHIT what a car!) seriously start pricing them out and am at $75k+ with ADM's that wont move. That's OK, cause I really like it..then the info on the 2020 GT500 starts leaking...WOW cant believe what I am seeing, best Mustang EVER! ADM's are even more unbelievable..BUT, its a FORD and amazing so I will wait a little. Then...the C8 is announced, presented, release of specs, for $59,999 and will build many thousand... CRAP! So this ford guy may end up a Jeep/Chevy guy? How the FCK did that happen!?!?!? I know, I may be crazy, but at the end of the day these are machines, no matter whose name is on it, I want them to perform in certain ways for certain costs, and FORD just isn't meeting either of those criteria very well.
