Ok this is a new post because the last post on the issue was a few weeks ago. Ok a bit of refresher I was getting a CAC code on the car and looking for a possible ground issue . the car was also backfiring.
there had been wires spliced in because I had the shop take out the random ground a previous shop had put in to help figure out the root cause of the cars issues .
Things have been beyond crazy so the car has just been in the garage but I finally got a chance to look again and the one of the plugs on the 12A690 harness was burnt but this time it was the one on the opposite end of the plug than the last time . Ok that was disappointing so I ordered the harness .it took a week to get it so I just left the car till it got here . Well I got it today and when I did I started looking again. When I was looking the wire splice they put in came apart easily well that explains a lot . So at this point I’m just wanting to get those wires back to original because I’m not a fan of the splice especially if they are freaking coming apart that said which ones will I need to order I want to make sure I don’t miss any because it is a PIA getting them and can take a while . I had a short video but don’t know how to post it hopefully you guys can see what I’m talking about
