According to consulting firm AlixPartners, the deficit will lower automotive industry revenues by $110 billion.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Production cuts could be commonplace for the next year as the CEO of chipmaker STMicro estimates that the shortage will end in early 2023.
