Fuel tank question (EVAP)

Hello everyone,
A couple questions regarding some EVAP lines and plugs (pic attached).
I can jump right in, installing a return style fuel system for my build I’m finally continuing. Everything is getting plumbed up nice, but my question…
In the pic, the two top holes separate from from the fill hole, they match my factory tank (new tank is from 03/04 cobra). They are for EVAP and venting, which I could pull from my factory setup.
Does anyone have an angle to remove these evap plugs from the factory tank efficiently? Even my OEM Ford manual that has been a massive help really doesn’t outline this. Pics…
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've never had good luck removing those valves. Always broke them when I tried. The last time I dealt with it I bought new valves from Ford.
