Gas Milage

What sort of milage is everyone getting. My Vert has 1600KM (about 1000 milles) on it, and I am getting about 12-14 mpg on an American gallon. Hard to say exactly, as we are forced to buy in litres here in Toronto.
By the way, I paid 81.9cents per litre yesterday which works out to $3.12 CDN for an American gallon, or about $1.90 US.

Driving back from Detriot @65mph I got 23 mpg. Regular driving, about 70% hwy and rest city, I got 17 mpg. But I've only got on it maybe a dozen times. The rest of the time I shift by the shift light.

Filled it up for the first time tonight. It was full when I picked it up Monday--not sure what kind of gas the dealer put in it but I got
209 miles on 12.75 Gal. Slightly over 16 MPG City and Highway driving. Filled it with 94 Octane at $1.56 a gallon.

I've been gettin 15 and 16 mpg at most fill ups.

Around town I get about 14. On the freeway, I've gotten about 21.5...

If I shift using the shift light, I find that I'm shifting just off idle most of the time...which is not what I bought the car for. ;-) However, if I'm ever in a pinch, that's what I'll do.

I have heard that the shift light can be disabled by EEPROM reprogramming...?

If I drive hard, I'm getting about 180 miles before my gas warning light comes on. If I'm nice, I get 180 for 3/4 tank and can refill about 12 gallons. That's 15 miles when I'm nice and 12 when I'm a bad boy. Hehehehe :beer:

I actually got 23 mpg on the highway last week.

During my daily commute, I will post a steady 19mpg.

During road trips, I will post 21-22mpg. :-D

During my alignment ordeal at the dealer, I got 15mpg (Dealer put 60miles on the car so assuming the remaining 120 miles were at my normal 19mpg, the dealer only got 11mpg!). :fm:

Back-and-forth to work (heavy traffic) 17.5mpg; on highway (pushing 85) 20.9.

If you use the LIGHT...you might as well get back in the L so you do not have to shift at all;-) .............Don;-)

StreetSnake--KingCobra is right. I'm in PA and I can get the 94 at Sunoco stations only.
